Diff Quik Stain 2

Bacto Diff Quik Stain 2 is the basophilic staining component and final staining stage of the Diff Quik rapid differential staining system.

Stain 2 provides blue to dark blue/purple staining of basophilic cellular structures, enhancing nuclear detail and other nucleic acid-rich components. In combination with the eosinophilic Stain 1, it produces the differential colour contrast characteristic of Romanowsky-type staining, allowing rapid visualisation and assessment of cellular morphology.

Suitable for blood films, cytological preparations and other air-dried specimens requiring rapid differential staining for microscopic examination.
