Electrode KCl Storage Solution

Bacto Electrode KCl Storage Solution is a potassium chloride-based solution formulated for the correct storage and conditioning of pH electrodes.

Proper storage helps keep the electrode’s glass bulb and reference junction hydrated, reducing the risk of the junction drying out or becoming blocked. This helps maintain fast response times, stable readings and reliable electrode performance while extending the working life of the electrode.

Suitable for routine laboratory, educational, industrial and water-testing applications.

Directions:

Pour a small quantity into an electrode storage cap or suitable container and ensure the sensing bulb and junction remain immersed when the electrode is not in use. Do not store pH electrodes in distilled or deionised water unless specifically recommended by the electrode manufacturer.
