Diff Quik Fixative

Bacto Diff Quik Fixative is the fixation component of the Diff Quik rapid staining system, designed for the preparation of air-dried cellular specimens prior to differential staining.

The fixative rapidly stabilises cellular morphology and assists in preserving nuclear and cytoplasmic detail during the subsequent staining process. It is intended for use as the first step of the three-stage Diff Quik staining procedure, followed by Diff Quik Stain 1 and Stain 2.

Suitable for use with a range of air-dried specimens, including blood films, cytology preparations and other laboratory slide specimens where rapid Romanowsky-type differential staining is required.
